Where sweepstakes casinos are permitted, state by state
Sweepstakes casinos operate under state promotion law rather than gambling law. Most states permit them; a growing number exclude them. Both lists are below and are retested monthly.

Thirty six states where adults can register
Individual casinos may still exclude a state or require 21+, so verify the casino’s own list before registering.
Three rules that apply everywhere
Casinos check location at registration and at redemption. A mailing address in a permitted state is not sufficient on its own.
Most casinos accept 18+. Stake.us and several others require 21 everywhere, and some states set 21 as the floor.
Four states were added to the excluded list in 2026. We retest every casino’s list at the start of each month.
